Higher Level Participation than Last Year

The ambition to attract participants holding even higher positions within their organizations for this year’s 3GF is being met. A large number of business leaders, including CEOs and presidents from global companies such as Eskom, Siemens, Philips, Danfoss, Novozymes, Vestas, and Bloomberg New Energy Finance will participate. Also South Korea’s Prime Minister and Qatar’s Deputy Prime Minister are among the participants as well as high-level representatives from international organizations such as the OECD Secretary General,  EU Commissioner for Climate Change, UN Under-Secretary General for DESA,  Executive Director of the United Nations Environment Programme, the President of the African Development Bank and high-level participation from the World Bank, IFC, the Asian and the Inter-American Development bank.
